How it All Started

A plumbing legacy, 50+ Years in the making.


It all started with a wrench, a work ethic, and a dream. Back in 1968, Peter Richardson launched Sidney & Richardson Plumbing with one goal: to keep Ballina’s pipes — and its people — flowing smoothly. From humble beginnings, the business quickly earned a reputation for honesty, quality workmanship, and doing the job right the first time.


Over the decades, Sidney & Richardson expanded across Lismore, Byron Bay and beyond, becoming the name Northern Rivers locals called first. Today, Peter’s son Brad proudly carries the legacy forward — backed by a close-knit team and generations of loyal clients.
